Rancho El Carbon is located in the Pitiquito municipality, in Sonora, Mexico, 80 km from the city of Caborca and 50 km from Puerto Libertad.

The 20,000 hectares of Rancho El Carbon have an average elevation of 530 meters above sea level.

The ranch can be accessed via Caborca or via Puerto Libertad, using the road joining both towns. Traveling by car from Hermosillo, Sonora state's capital city, the ranch can be reached in about 3.5 hours.

In the case of private planes, both towns, Caborca and Puerto Libertad, have properly paved airports, which can accommodate huge aircraft, which is able to land with the corresponding permit from authorities in both towns.
